Try the hockey for free, then decide if you want to play

Yes it is true, you can now try the Discover Hockey program for free. Incredible, right? Before you go out and buy all the fancy hockey equipment, come out to one of our intro sessions with the world renowned Andre LePuck, our head instructor at the Richmond Oval. Andre will walk you through what you need to know so you can finally realize your long unfulfilled dream of playing hockey.

Andre will go over what the program is, and show you a few things on the ice that you can work on by yourself later, like how to skate forward better, improve your balance and the basics of stopping. If you do have a bit of experience on the outdoor ice or elsewhere, you will still benefit from the vast amount of hockey knowledge Andre possesses. Don’t be afraid to ask him as many questions as you have, he is there to help you.

All you need is skates, helmet (cage is definitely worth it) and a hockey stick to do this. We do strongly recommend full equipment, just in case you fall down it would hurt a lot less than if you did not have any pads on. But even if you have shin guards and elbow pads, you can do the more adventurous things Andre can show you.

So what do you say? Lets give hockey a chance and give it a try?

Oh and don’t forget to bring your friends, wives, husbands, boyfriends or girlfriends, everyone is welcome in the program and at the intro session, but you do have to be 18+.

Don’t leave before you sign up for one of the available sessions below and please, tell all your friends about this incredible opportunity to learn to play hockey!
